New Blood Festival

The D&AD New Blood Festival is a renowned high-energy, 2.5-day advertising industry event, celebrating and inspiring young creative talent. The design and production challenge set by the D&AD, was to seamlessly unify highly diverse elements; an awards ceremony, keynote stages, 40x emerging work portfolios, and 2x sponsor activations.

As Lead Design and Event Production Partner, Something Else designed and produced a solution that unified the entire 13,000 sq ft festival, ensuring maximum visibility for the young talent and delivering a seamless, high-value experience for all attendees.

The festival is the physical celebration of a large global program. The New Blood Awards briefs were downloaded over a quarter of a million times by students and emerging talent in 128 countries, with entries received from over 6,000 creatives from 72 countries, underscoring the events ongoing industry reputation and young talent spotlighting.
